Hi, I’m Gardener Bob!
I specialize in artisan sourdough and fresh, home-grown, seasonal produce and canned goods. I believe that food is medicine and should be clean and healthy. That’s why I offer products without artificial ingredients or preservatives–so your body can function optimally, without sacrificing flavor!
I believe in ingredients you can feel good about.
I searched for a good, versatile sourdough made with clean, simple ingredients. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I started experimenting on my own. I’m so happy to introduce you to Gardener Bob’s Sourdough. Its sour flavor isn’t as intense as a classic sourdough, so it can be enjoyed with sweet or savory flavors.
My sourdough has only four ingredients, King Arthur’s Unbleached Flour, filtered water, salt, and my beautiful 103-year-old sourdough starter. This 103-year-old starter offers an incredible flavor that has been developing for, well, 103 years. A sourdough loaf is only as good as its starter, and welcome to Flavortown because this one rock!
I also really enjoy canning and offer a wide variety of canned goods. From sweet to savory, there’s probably something for you. My specialty is Pickles, so go check those out. However, don’t forget about all the other amazing options as well
I recently opened a Bakery/Kitchen in Greensboro that has amazing baked goods including cookies, scones, and of course my Sourdough Bread. You can also find fresh Gardener Bob Brewed Kombucha as well. Finally, a few gluten-free treats are a staple at Gardener Bob because not everyone can eat wheat flour. I use Arthur’s gluten-free flour and this stuff makes amazing gluten-free products. You won’t find them here on my website, but you can come by my store to find them.
