Our Company’s history
Robert (Bob) Orr began work in the horticulture field in his mid-thirties. In 1998, he graduated from South Puget Sound Community with a degree in Horticulture and became certified as a professional horticulturist through the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association (WSNLA).
In 2001, he began Gardener Bob’s Landscape Services in Tacoma Washington. The company’s experience and staff expanded in 2005 when Bob met and married Lorie, who is also a Certified Horticulturist. Lorie is a specialist in perennials and annual plants and maintains a large vegetable garden.
Over the years, she has become an expert at growing vegetables and now shares her knowledge so her customers can have vegetable gardens with bountiful harvests.

Gardener Bob has been caring for our lawn and landscaping for the last three and a half years. He takes a personal interest by periodically visiting each of his customers to make sure his crew is doing an excellent job. Michael, the supervisor who comes to our home, is very conscientious and friendly as are Dan and Rob, the employees with him.
